How do we decide which projects should be done? Recently we have been working with the NHS, building a programme and project management framework and showing them how it should be used. It led us to think about how investment in technology and change is aligned to the outcomes that it secures. Frequently organisations “throw” money at their IT department and expect some magic thus. This often leads to the IT folk investing in what they think is best, and listening to who is shouting
